somm(elier) SLAM!
at tallulah we love a great party! to that end, the following events
are available for your enjoyment! reservations are required and seating
is limited, so please call at your earliest convenience.
“somm(elier) SLAM!”
somm(elier) slams are not your typical wine dinner. in our never ending search for finding an excuse to host a party, to entertain our guests with something out of the ordinary, and to share our passion for wine and food… tallulah proudly presents our Somm(elier) SLAM series!
the slams are a fun and dynamic evening of food and wine pairings. for each Somm SLAM, we have invited a guest sommelier from another restaurant to go head to head in a multi-course wine pairing challenge with tallulah’s proprietor, mindy vanhellemont. throughout the evening, the two sommeliers are on hand pouring, interacting, sharing (and trying to snag votes from our guests).
our guests are our judges, and vote for their favorite wine pairing from each course. at the end of the evening, votes will be tallied and the winning somm will be declared! the winning somm gets bragging rights and, more importantly, a donation will be made by tallulah to their favorite charity! the events are a sell out, so please call early for reservations!
our next somm(elier) SLAM will take place on sunday, march 4, 2012 at 6:00pm.
